Bethel City Church doesn't do 'small' groups. In fact, Bethel City Church doesn't really do 'small' anything. Instead, here at BCC we have what we like to call City Life Pods.

City Life Pods are phenomenal clusters of Bethel City Church DNA that are fast redefining small group dynamics. Each Pod carries the culture and DNA of Bethel City Church and exists to breathe life into the City of Stoke on Trent.

City Life Pods take place in various locations across the city and at various times during the week. Before long, there will be City Life Pods in every postcode throughout the city.

Doing Life Together

Here at BCC we don’t just live life; we do life, and we do it together. City Life Pods are one way in which you can be loved for who you are and inspired to become all that you can be. Because of their compact nature, City Life Pods can fit just about anywhere, usually inside a family home. They are strategically placed in order to breathe life into specific areas of the City most effectively.

City Life Pods are the perfect way to make friends and to do life with people who will love, inspire and champion you to get the very best out of your life. Those who are connected to a Pod don't have to wait until Sunday to gather with the aewsome people that make Bethel City Church bounce. In addition, Pods are a great way to keep you up-to-date with the busy BCC diary and news; to stay connected to the BCC vision; and to cultivate that BCC culture in you and those around you.

Whether you're a student, a parent, a teenager, newly married or single, you'll find that City Life Pods are for you. You shouldn't have to travel too far either as we're working on transporting at least one City Life Pod in every city postcode.

Powerful

City Life Pods have been intentionally designed with your twenty first century lifestyle in mind. Just like the iPod, Blackberry or PSP, City Life Pods - despite being small in size - are incredibly powerful. These are not the 'small groups' or 'house groups' we are often so familiar with. City Life Pods carry the same power and culture that our City Gatherings do for example. Pods are hugely significant and incredibly effective. What better way to transform a community or a neighbourhood than to plant a  pod of dynamic, passionate, Jesus-filled people right next door?!

Students

During term time, there are a number of City Life Pods that take place on both Keele and Staffordshire University campuses. Student pods are accessible to all students and take place fortnightly in the Students' Union, campus bars, coffee shops or halls of residence. Student Pods will return in September and are essential for all students. Besides being a great way to spend time with other students in a relaxing environment,  Student Pods are intentionally designed to connect you with the vision, culture and DNA of Bethel City Church and will help you effectively reach out to your friends and your campus. Students are also welcome at any of our other City Life Pods across the city.
