City Youth is a phenomenal city wide Youth Programme based in Stoke on Trent with a vision to love a generation for who they are and to  inspire a generation to be all that they can be.

City Youth is one of the fast-growing youth organisations in the nation and the youth department of one of the fastest-growing churches innation in Bethel City Church.

Launched in September 2008, City Youth have progressed at a phenomenal rate. City Youth have their very own facility in the heart of the City Centre which they are currently rennovating to the highest specification. From their base - The Stand - City Youth run weekly events for young people on Friday and Sunday nights and will soon be operating from there on Saturday afternoons, offering a drop-in facility for young people in Hanley. The City Youth Team are also committed to picking up young people from pick-up points all over the city, as well as dropping them at home following every event.

On top of that, City Youth also run weekly Activate sessions from Sports Centres around the city of Stoke on Trent including the Wallace Centre in Abbey Hulton and Trentham Sports Centre. City Youth also regularly hit the streets in strategica locations across the city in order to meet young people are their own turf. 

City Youth is not just for weekend events however. In fact, you could go as far as saying that City Youth is  in constant operation and very rarely sleeps. Our phenomenal team of City Youth Pastors are in regular contact with their designated group of young people via phone, text, email and social networking sites and ensure that they meet up with young people as often as they can. Young People can access their City Youth Pastor every day before 10pm.

Perhaps the largest part of the City Youth programme is the Schools Work. City Youth are in relationship with over 10 High Schools in the City of Stoke on Trent and aim to work with all of the High Schools by the end of 2010. City Youth boast a phenomenal school team of experienced staff who are capable of planning and delivering RE lessons on almost any subject matter within the curriculum. Schools can book the City Youth Team for a one-off lesson, a full day of lessons or even a full week of lessons. The team are willing to work with the school in order to deliver the RE curriculum in a dynamic, interactive and relevant way. City Youth are also regularly asked to conduct High School assemblies on a variety of themes and subjects.

City Youth believe in making a positive and excellent difference to the Secondary School Education System in Stoke on Trent. The City Youth team also offer a Pastoral Support Programme to all High Schools in Stoke on Trent. The City Youth PsP Programme includes one-to-one or group mentoring sessions, behaviour management and lunch time drop-in sessions, however City Youth are willing to tailor their programme to the needs of any given school and any particular pupil.

All City Youth Pastors are committed to loving young people for who they are and to inspiring them to become all that they can be. The City Youth Team are all CRBchecked and have undertaken Child Protection training in accordance with Bethel City Church's Child Protection Policy.
