James is the senior leader at Bethel City Church. Since taking up position in September 2007, James has been busy repositioning the house to move it from a certain place to an awesome place.
James is absolutely convinced that Bethel City Church is the best church on the planet and he is passionate about seeing BCC become the church that God designed it to be. Born and bred in Stoke on Trent, James loves this city with an unquenchable passion, and he believes that church should be at the very centre of the community and city.

James believes wholeheartedly in building a strong and unified team as well as developing leaders in the house. As Senior Pastor, James - alongside his wife Becky and two boys Caleb and Isaac - is committed to building a church that is numerically large and influential, strategic in its operation and generational in its mindset.
As well as being a phenomenal leader, James is also an incredible communicator, cultural architect and visionary. He's a season ticket holder at Stoke City FC and has even been seen running the Potters 'Arf marathon to raise money for lovestoke.org.
